Texas Values PAC (“we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect at www.texasvaluespac.com and through our email, text messaging and fundraising programs, and how we use it.
Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you sign up, take a survey, volunteer or contribute, we may collect your name, email address, mobile number, mailing address, zip code and your responses.
Contribution information. Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and employer of individuals whose contributions aggregate more than $200 in an election cycle. Contributions are processed by WinRed, a third-party processor; card data is handled by WinRed and its PCI-compliant payment partners, not stored by us. Contributor information reported to the Federal Election Commission becomes public record.
Automatic information. Like most sites, we and our service providers use cookies, pixels and similar tools to collect device, browser and usage data, to measure our outreach and to show you relevant messages on other platforms (for example, Meta and Google).
How We Use Information
- To send you updates, action alerts, event information and requests for contributions by email, text and mail.
- To process contributions and meet our legal reporting obligations.
- To measure and improve our communications and advertising.
How We Share Information
We may share your information with vendors and service providers who work on our behalf; with candidates, committees and organizations that share our views; and as required by law (including FEC reporting). You may ask us not to share your information with other organizations by emailing info@texasvaluespac.com.
Text messaging. Mobile phone numbers, text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. They are shared only with service providers that operate our messaging program on our behalf, and as required by law.
Your Choices
- Email: use the unsubscribe link in any email.
- Text: reply STOP to any message; reply HELP for help.
- Advertising cookies: opt out of interest-based ads at aboutads.info and networkadvertising.org, or adjust your browser and platform ad settings.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, and we ask that individuals under 18 not submit information.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes
We may update this policy at any time by posting the revised version on this page with a new “last updated” date.
